Green Trampolines – the most popular coloured trampoline

Thursday, December 24th, 2009

It is without doubt the most popular colour of trampoline in the UK. It is easy to see why it blends into the surroundings and doesn’t resemble a giant spaceship that has just landed on the lawn. It is a traditional theme and colour that also doesn’t just look pleasing on the eye it also help in hiding any scuffs or blemishes on the padding.

The ranges of green trampolinesmost popular in the UK are in order the jump king classic jumppod, the octa jumps which a octagonal shaped and have a lighter green colour. The jump kings are coloured with a darker green which is ideal to sit along side the lawn.

The different ranges of octajumps all have the lighter green padding and surround so the differences cannot be easily seen between there popular and deluxe ranges. Another trampoline that uses the dark green is the telstar trampoline range which also come with surround padding. I must say from a personal point of view I do prefer the darker green they give the connotation of quality and remind me of the green colour used at the famous tennis grand slam Wimbledon.

In an even lighter green are the cheaper budget range of jumpkings the popular. These are ideal for younger children looking for there first garden trampolines and are suited to larger or smaller gardens with there extensive range of sizes from 6ft to 14ft.

You will find that very major makers of trampolines will without doubt provide a green trampoline that is in there ranges. It will be because it is the as much abut trampolines as post vans are red, girls like pink and boys are blue it is just tradition and convention and a part of trampoline culture in this modern era.

If you want to break those conventions with your choice of trampoline the other colours to look out for are a royal blue which does look well. Pink trampolines which you will see many girls wanting as a matter of course.

Love Columnist Expands Lee Hiller Designs with Her Passion for Fashion

Her store began with nature photographs taken in the mid 1990’s Erie, PA., continued with her 1999 collection of Washington DC shots which began her foray into digital photograph. If this were not enough Ms Hiller has begun a new range of designs based on her passion for fabric and fashion.

Born in Portland, Or., she knew she wanted to see the world. Her career in software as an instructional engineer took her from Oregon to the South Pacific to New Zealand to Erie, back to Portland and finally Hot Springs, Ar where she decided to settle along with her Sony Cybershot camera.

Though she began taking her wildlife and nature photography seriously in Erie, capturing squirrels, birds, flowers and trees all in their natural habitat, as far as she was concerned, she was simply enjoying the process of the creativity of photography and knew she was building a beautiful photo album.

In 2009, Lee Hiller, who was now Google’s top ranked “America’s Favorite Love Columnist” (yes she can write too), moved to Hot Springs to be with her fiancé’, Rick London. London, who had already been in Hot Springs a decade and ancestors who lived there many years ago when Al Capone settled there to open his headquarters, showed her the city and it was not long before Ms Hiller was climbing the main mountains with her Sony Cybershot capturing the local scenery and wildlife.

It did not take her long to pick up and literally run with digital designing. London, an offbeat cartoonist and designer, had been working within ten feet of her in the same home office, making gifts and after a month together looked up to find she too had begun designing items for her own store. Hiller took it a step further in that she has found a way to scan fabric, build a huge inventory and transform everything from designer shoes to Psychedelic mouse pads and retro 50s Atomic Martini Club tees, to key chains to aprons and much more. Working from her scanned collection she has created an eclectic mix of hip modern and retro designs. When ask about her inspiration she states, “My Fiancé’ Rick and his amazing designer collection of Love Quote shoes and wildly funny cartoon gifts”.

Since moving to Arkansas she ventures in to the Hot Springs National Park to capture the beauty of its many trails. In the Hot Springs Historic District she is known for her photographs of Bath House Row architecture and tiles. She even has her own section of her store at LeeHillerDesigns.com which features Hot Springs, AR on various gifts products and collectibles.

In just two short months Hiller has designed 5000+ products and won 14 TBAs (Today’s Best Award) which Zazzle gives to creators of the best products of the day. This may not seem like much but the competition is fierce with over 5 billion products a day in competition with her.

Rick London si a writer and cartoonist and founder of Londons Times Cartoons, the #1 Google ranked offbeat cartoon on the net and many licensed cartoon gift including funny cow tees, mugs, aprons, totes, caps and much more.

Unusual Christmas Gifts

Friday, October 16th, 2009

It’s that time of year again when we start looking at buying Christmas presents for our nearest and dearest.  With a recession on many people are starting their shopping early which is a great idea and reduces the stress commonly related to the Christmas season.  But finding unusual gifts can be tricky.  If you go to all the popular high street shops you will find the usual sort of gifts we buy each year, soap gift sets, perfume gift sets and so on.  But I always struggle to find something that you know when opened on Christmas day will make that person smile and really be appreciative of the gift.  But how can you find that special gift?

Buying Christmas presents can be stressful especially if you leave it to the last minute. All the shops will be bursting with people and the queues to the tills will go on forever.  Christmas shouldn’t be like this.  It’s a time to relax and enjoy time wit your family.  But most of us find the whole festive season too much and can’t wait for it to be over.

With a bit of preparation your Christmas holidays could turn out to be a wonderful stress free time which you and your family will enjoy.  So how do you find gifts without heading to the packed out shopping centres?  Well thanks to the online shopping you can view many different types of boutiques in the comfort of your own home and compare prices.  If you find something you like the look of, you can put the item name in Google and find every other occurrence of that item for you to compare price, shipping etc.

Also the beauty of online stores is that you can search for a particular niche.  For instance if the person you are buying for is really into golf, you can search for ‘golf gifts’ or ‘golf shops’ to find store dedicated to that subject.  Maybe you know the person you are buying for loves all things French, in which case type ‘French Gifts’ into Google and it will list only stores offering French Gifts.

Many people are looking for alternative gifts where you buy them a unique experience like Driving a F1 car, sky diving, hot ballooning or a day out at a spar.  Days out gifts are becoming more popular for those people that have everything but love to experience new activities.

One present I got last year which I liked was 6 weeks of lottery tickets.  I didn’t win anything big but 3 numbers came in which one me a tenner, the fun was every Wednesday and Saturday watching the lottery and praying my numbers came up

So shopping this Christmas needn’t be a headache.  Pour a class of wine, sit, surf and search. The internet is a very powerful tool right at your fingertips, so why not use it and abuse it.  Remember to choose the right keywords, as what words you search for will determine what sites come up.  Don’t put ‘online shopping’ in as nearly 300 million results will come up and they will mainly be all the high street shops.

Forget getting stressed as you battle your way around the shops, give the shops a wide birth this Christmas and shop online.  If you do all your shopping now, you can spend December pampering yourself buying party clothes and accessories and really getting into the spirit of Christmas.

Boutique Provencale is a lovely online store offering French Gifts, French Pottery, French Table Linen and much more.
